Our Cats

We have 2 lovely cats living at our place, Kitsune and Diego. You can find them playing in the garden. They love a cuddle and are happy to meet new people every day.

Kitsune

My name means 'fox' because I love mischief but you can call me 'Kitsu' for short. I was found wandering the streets of Christchurch as an underfed 4 month old kitten in the autumn of 2014.

 

I was a bit nervous about my new job as a hostel kitty but I quickly learned to love it here! I adore cuddles, chasing bugs, climbing trees, and smacking a napping Diego in the face!

Diego​

I was born in January 2011 and they say I'm part English short hair, part Rottweiler, because I like to play fetch and patrol the premises. I stalk the neighborhood dressed all in black, and like Zorro, I'm a lover and a fighter. I adore it if you scratch my head and chin but only on my terms.

 

I used to be the cute young one around here until that kitten came along...
